Mentor Opinion Writing

Opinion: Swimming is great

Hey! Have you ever wanted to try a cool sport? Something that is fun and good for

you? If you said yes, you should learn to swim! (opinion)

Swimming is a great. One reason why swimming is great is because it is fun. You

can dive in a big pool by doing cannon balls or just jumping in (example). Whenever I go

swimming, I love to make a big splash when I dive.

Another reason why swimming is great is because you can play fun games. You can

play water volleyball and Marco Polo with your friends and family. My family and I love

playing volleyball in the water. It’s fun to throw the ball around to each other.

One other reason why swimming is great is because it is great exercise. Swimming

helps your muscles get stronger because when you move in the water your muscles are

working harder.

So, if you want to try a fun and healthy activity take my advice and go swimming!
