[57] Abstract:

A method and system for near field communication are provided. The method includes: a card reader transmitting a low-frequency time-varying magnetic field signal whose frequency is equal to or less than a highest frequency f0 at which the system is non-adjusted working, and the signal carrying identifier information of the card reader; a mobile radio frequency device receiving and detecting the low-frequency signal, and magnifying it to be a voltage signal, and judging whether a terminal enters a valid distance interval or not; if the voltage signal is greater than or equal to a voltage threshold Vt, then the terminal entering the valid brushing card interval, and obtaining the identifier information of the card reader, and transmitting its own identifier information together with the identifier information of the card reader to the card reader through a radio frequency channel;; the card reader receiving the transmitted information, and comparing whether the identifier information in the transmitted information is consistent with the identifier information of its own or not, if it is consistent, then performing a brushing card exchange with the mobile radio frequency device through the radio frequency channel. This solution realizes that the data communicating distance between a radio frequency communication terminal including a mobile radio frequency device and a card reader can be controlled reliably within a stated range, and an adjusting to the terminal is not needed.

[57] Abstract:

A method for deleting a region of DNA in a plant. In some embodiments, the method comprises transforming a plant with a nucleic acid molecule, wherein the nucleic acid molecule encodes one or more zinc finger nuclease(s) (ZFNs) operably linked to one or more tissue specific promoter(s), e.g., a pollen specific promoter. Methods include excising native genes in a plant. Accordingly, in some embodiments, ZFNs are engineered that recognize sequences that flank native plant genes. In further embodiments, ZFNs are expressed under the control of developmental stage specific promoters, such that, for example, nucleic acid sequences are specifically excised in plants during relatively late stages of development. Nucleic acid molecules useful for carrying out disclosed methods and plants produced by the methods are included.

[57] Abstract:

The invention relates to a device (1) for filling granular, pulverulent and free-flowing materials into a container (5), preferably a hose- and sack-shaped container, made of geotextile material, comprising a housing (6) that allows the advancement of the material and in which a conveying device is arranged, characterized in that on the entry side of said conveying device the material can be filled in and on the exit side thereof a hose (9) made of geotextile material receives the material. The hose (9) can be shaped on the jacket of the housing (6), which can be unwound as a web from a feeding device (12) that is designed like a roll (11), wherein the longitudinal sides of the web can be connected to each other by means of a device in the region of the jacket. According to the invention, the housing (6) consists of a tubular body (15) that extends perpendicular to the direction of advance and is arranged vertically, said tubular body interacting with a feeding device (12) for the geotextile material, which rotates about the jacket (10) of the tubular body (15) and is designed as an unrolling device (16).

[57] Abstract:

The assimilated C and N largely influence plant growth and crop yields. Previous attempts to alter the carbon and nitrogen status of the plants attempted with one or two genes The present invention involves simultaneous co-overexpression of three genes wherein one gene (PEPCase) efficiently capture CO2 whereas the other two encode for enzymes (Asp AT and GS) involved in nitrogen assimilation. The combined effect is the enhancement of carbon and nitrogen status of the plant and the productivity.

Aspects disclosed herein relate to improving mechanisms for prompting a NFCC to update data exchange parameters for ISO-DEP communications between a DH and a remote NFC endpoint. In an example, with a NFC device a DH may be configured to receive an activation message from a NFCC that is using a Frame RF interface over NFC-B RF technology, determine that one or more data exchange parameters included in the activation message are different from one or more corresponding current relevant data exchange parameters that the NFCC is configured to implement, generate an RF parameter update command including the one or more data exchange parameters corresponding to the one or more current relevant data exchange parameters that are determined to be different, and send the generated RF parameter update command to the NFCC to prompt the NFCC to update the one or more corresponding current relevant data exchange parameters.

[57] Abstract:

Disclosed herein is a method of controlling the air to fuel ratio in a burner containing a venturi assembly. The venturi includes an air inlet, a primary fuel inlet with a converging section, a throat portion downstream from the converging section, a diverging section downstream from the throat portion, an outlet, and a secondary gas inlet disposed downstream from the converging section and upstream from the outlet. The method comprises introducing fuel into the fuel inlet, receiving air through the air inlet by inspiration, and feeding a gas through the secondary gas inlet, the flow rate and content of the gas fed through the secondary gas inlet being selected to result in a desired air to fuel ratio through the outlet. A method of firing a heater, a burner, a furnace and firing control systems also are disclosed.

[57] Abstract:

A method of establishing a registration between a mobile device and a server includes receiving at the server an SMS or MMS from a mobile device. The server receives the phone number of the mobile device, verifies the phone number of the mobile device against a whitelist to authorize a registration between the mobile device and the server, and verifies a secure identification code that is input at the mobile device. The secure identification code is provided to a user of the mobile phone before the mobile device is registered with the server. The secure identification code can be provided to the user via an administrator of the server. An encryption key established between the mobile device and the server can be used to provide or enhance encryption of a voice communication, such as a VoIP communication, made using the mobile device.

[57] Abstract:

There is described an intaglio printing press (1; 1*) comprising an intaglio cylinder (8) and an ink wiping system (10) with a rotating wiping roller assembly (11) contacting a circumference of the intaglio cylinder (8) for wiping excess ink from the surface of the intaglio cylinder (8), a rotational speed of the wiping cylinder being adjustable with respect to a rotational speed of the intaglio cylinder (8). The intaglio printing press (1; 1*) comprises an adjustable drive unit (25), which adjustable drive unit (25) is interposed between the wiping roller assembly (11) acting as a rotating output body of the adjustable drive unit (25) and a driving gear (100) coupled to the intaglio cylinder (8) and acting as a rotating input body of the adjustable drive unit (25). The adjustable drive unit (25) is designed to allow selected adjustment of a rotational speed of the wiping roller assembly (11) with respect to a rotational speed of the driving gear (100). In an adjusting state of the adjustable drive unit (25), driving into rotation of the wiping roller assembly (11) is adjusted by means of an adjustment motor (700) of the adjustable drive unit (25). In a non-adjusting state of the adjustable drive unit (25), the adjustment motor (700) is inoperative and driving into rotation of the wiping roller assembly (11) is performed exclusively mechanically via the adjustable drive unit (25), the wiping roller assembly (11) rotating at a defined rotational speed with respect to the rotational speed of the intaglio cylinder (8).

[51] International Class 8: H04N 7/36

[57] Abstract:

Provided are inter prediction method and a motion compensation method. The inter prediction method includes: performing inter prediction on a current image by using a long-term reference image stored in a decoded picture buffer; determining residual data and a motion vector of the current image generated via the inter prediction; and determining least significant bit (LSB) information as a long-term reference index indicating the long-term reference image by dividing picture order count (POC) information of the long-term reference image into most significant bit (MSB) information and LSB information.
