In the interests of safety for children in church, the top level of the dais is out of bounds. This is due to equipment that could be dangerous if knocked over or misused.

At the meeting on Wednesday, Philip Sykes and David Kibble were elected as Churchwardens and Lindsey Pallant was elected as Deputy Churchwarden. Lorna Hebden was elected to the PCC. Ann McKenna, Caroline Gilfillan, Judith Jackson and Michelle Plant were elected to the Deanery Synod. Thank you to all those who are willing to serve on the Church Council.

7.30pm, Sat 31 May, Centre Join us for a fun-packed evening of entertainment, prizes and auctions. All proceeds go to the Bethlehem Centre, Romania. Please pray for the 4 candidates coming for interview next weekend, that they will be able to demonstrate their gifts and abilities through the two-day interview process and that it will become clear who the right person is to share life and love Leeds with the children and families of St George’s.

Open access theology modules at St Thomas Crookes campus in Sheffield, each module includes over 20 hrs of teaching and is equivalent to a 20 credit first year degree module. £220 per module (bursaries available) including refreshments, marked essay and letter of recognition of work. Doctrine - Keith Jones 9.30am-1pm, Mon 12 May – 14 July Students will cover key themes in theology and doctrine, considering how the great debates and Chris-tian theologians of history inspire and inform our thinking, with an opportunity to focus on a particular area of Christian thought. Worship - Mark Powley 2-4.45pm, Mondays 28 April – 7 July This module will combine insights from a range of speakers on the history, meaning and contemporary practice of Christian worship, considering the significance of prayer, singing, liturgy, spiritual gifts, bap-tism and the Lord’s Supper.
