Open up Internet Explorer and go to:

You will need your CAC for this. If your CAC does not work you will not be able to get access and a CCC needs to know so that we can ensure that one of the departmentals or divisionals from your department has access to your people.

Click on New Users (NSIPS, ESR, CIMS, Web Ad Hoc)

Select (CIMS), then hit Next

-Before submitting you will need to select Justification and put: Request access for department or divisional (whichever position you are filling) access.

-You will also need to click CIMS UIC Access (guidance is on the next slide)

-This is what this page should look like prior to submitting. If everything is filled out correctly select submit. Once submitted, one of the CCC’s will receive an email and will verify you access. After CCC verify access it goes off ship for approval, which does take a few days to come back.

-You should receive 3 emails from the NSIPS_saar’s desk. One that says your access has been initiated, one that says it has been verified, and a final one that says your access has been approved.

-Once you receive an email saying your access has been approved, please let one of the CCC’s know so that we can start assigning your Sailor’s to your account.
