2. Who?????? Lack of food may not be a problem for everyonebut it does effect people and the way they thinkand act. How would you react if you saw starvingchildren where you could see there bonespopping out they were so hungry and sick and itsto late for you to do anything to help. I would feelpretty terrible. But there is something you, I the people all overthe world and the people in Africa can do tohelp 3. How Much???? This Chart shows how much poverty there wasin the different parts of Africa as of 2009. As you can see the centre of Africa has theleast amount of poverty, that is because it isthe more rich part of Africa. But other parts you can see have up to asmuch as 12,500 people living in poverty!!!! 4. What???? Poverty is unhappiness. It is lack of needs. In 2009, 22 of 24 nations identified as having"Low Human Development. Over $500 billion (U.S.) has been sent toAfrican nations in the form of direct aid. Theconsensus is that the money has had littlelong term effect. 5. Why???? Ive done many posts on poverty in differentplaces. Many of the reasons are the same butthen again there is always one specific reason,in Africa it is Personal sacrifice. The other reasons include , slothfulness, tragedy (earthquakes, floods, wars, etc.), orcorruption. 6. What Can We Do To Help? There is many sites where you can support children andfamilies in Africa. You have probably seen the commercialson T.V. I cant think of the names of them off the top of myhead. There is charitys that sometimes go throughout theschools that you can donate to but people who dont havea high income there is definitely other ways to help them.Such as, just praising for healing, calling the governmentand beg them to change their ways. Just one tiny thing onyour part can change a whole persons live. Here is a story on the CBC news in Toronto. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/story/2011/07/28/toronto-africa-relief.html 7.
