CATEGORIES FOR The ‘EDF Pulse Electricity & Smart Living Awards’ represent EDF’s engagement for progress in three areas: home, mobility and health:

•  Home covers projects dealing with clean tech, more energy efficient and environment friendly housing.

•  Mobility covers projects dealing with solutions and services to meet society’s growing mobility requirements and needs, particularly those focusing on sustainable transport solutions.

•  Health deals with innovations which improve people’s health and quality of life, intelligent healthcare technology, and interconnected healthcare services.

Each of the three winning projects will receive €35,000 prize money

and will benefit from a major advertising campaign (including TV,

ENTRY CRITERIA

•  Companies with fewer than 50 employees or individuals,

•  Innovations due to be launched within 24 months,

•  Projects related to electricity (use or alternative sources)

•  The need 'tackled' and the size of the market

•  The solution proposed (object or service)

•  The technological innovation delivered

•  The calibre of the team

•  The environmental and societal impact

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM THE PROJECT TEAMS

•  A name and a visual of the project concept, as well as a licence to use for EDF for each of these.

•  Candidates should also supply if possible, additional promotional content such as a video introducing the project and the team behind it. Licenses to use for EDF must also be supplied.
