may not be far off”
news dealing with the different
forms and types we have
studied the DNA and the major
influence on cellular activity.
These newswire are clear
examples of how sophisticated
new methods for a large
component of the body such as
the blood can give us new
solutions to major pathologies.
INTRODUCTION
Cell division discovery could offer fresh insight into cancer
sciencedaily, January 14, 2014
• In molecular biology, mitosis is a process that occurs in the nucleus of eukaryotic cells and immediately preceding cell division comprising the characteristic equal distribution of genetic material (DNA)
• there are 4 different stages: prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase

• Ska complex (proteins), help anchor DNA, the form of chromosomes, by interacting with strands of cell material. Chromosomes remain attached to these strands as they are separated, in a process that helps distribute DNA correctly to the newly formed cells.

cancer
sciencedaily, January 14, 2014• Scientists determined
the structure of the relevant part of the protein complex by analysing crystals of it with lab tools and cell-based experiments. This showed how the Ska complex attaches to the strands, helping to bind the DNA material.

cancer
sciencedaily, January 14, 2014• "Our findings
represent a milestone in resolving the mystery of how these key proteins enable new cells to separate properly and equally, in this essential process for life. The findings of our work have the potential to create new avenues in drug discovery towards fighting cancer."
observation
I think the meaning of this important discovery at the molecular level, shows us the advances in medical science and
through this will come at last to save lives from something such as the
cancer
• simple blood test could be developed to determine whether gene mutations associated with pancreatic cancer exist without the need of locating and testing tumor tissue.

may not be far off

• the discovery that tiny particles the size of viruses called 'exosomes,' which are shed by cancer cells into the blood, contain the entire genetic blueprint of cancer cells.

may not be far off
sciencedaily January 8, 2014
• that DNA derived from exosomes carried the same cancer-related genetic mutations compared to the cancer cells taken from tumor.
• The analysis of exosome DNA taken from blood samples may not only help determine the presence of a cancerous tumor somewhere in the body but also identify mutations without a need for tumor sample

observation
this study seems very interesting as it talked about how to identify a
possible cancer will be easier and faster by the greater chance of cure
for people who suffer from this.
• with the discovery of these proteins that play an important role in a process such as the cell division, should make the most as these could be a great start to lessen a disease such as cancer and better able to deal effectively with these.

cancer
Blood test to locate gene defects associated
with cancer may not be far off• with this new
opportunity to discover mutations in an early stage, it should be performed in all individuals even so you have no suspicion as they would be talking about prevention of disease which today claims thousands of lives.
• a very important thing to consider in this discovery is that this method to detect cancer in patients is minimally invasive, and not to take samples of the tumor, avoiding costly and unnecessary risks.
Blood test to locate gene defects associated
with cancer may not be far off
Blood test to locate gene defects associated
with cancer may not be far off• with the discovery
that cells cencerigenas leave "traces" are drugs and should make this road may lead us to the probable site of the tumor in the body and thus act more quickly and effectively
