Week 9 Term 3, 10th September 2014 Dear Parents, Sue Mackay Principal
Quote for the Week:
Week 1 Term 2, 27th April 2016 Dear Parents,
It looks like the start to Term 2 is also the start to the winter weather! I hope everyone was able to take the opportunity to soak up the beautiful weather over the holidays and recharge themselves for a new and very busy term. We always envisage easing into a new term however as with any week in a school these days, the calendar is already packed full of activity! The first whole school occasion for the term will be on Friday 29th April, when as part of the Anzac Centenary program, the school will be holding our ANZAC service at 10.30am. Parents and community members are most welcome to join us for this occasion. I’m away for the first couple of weeks of school this term and Mrs O’dell will be relieving in my absence. Mrs Attwood has come off class to relieve as the Deputy Principal. At the present time we are assuming that this situation will continue for the term as Mrs O’dell will be on leave pending her retirement. Despite being school holidays, it has been a big week for schools with the Coffs Harbour Show last weekend and the ANZAC March on Monday. The display of art works by the students of our school area was great to see and Kororo’s contribution was a credit to the students. A large contingent of ‘Kororo Kids’ proudly representing the school and paying their respects on ANZAC Day, was a wonderful start to the school term. Thank you to all those who joined us on the march and in the crowd. Well done Kororo!
“Here’s to a productive term! Sue Mackay Principal
Sow a thought, and you reap an act;
Sow an act, and you reap a habit;
Sow a habit, and you reap a character;
Sow a character, and you reap a destiny.”
