The Tennessee Public Transportation Association (TPTA) is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to improving public transportation in all Tennessee communities.

Nashville’s WeGo Public Transit is using BAE Systems’ latest technology with geofencing to operate its newest line of transport buses. Allowing automatic switching between Series-ER electric power inside designated zones and hybrid electric power outside those zones eliminates the need for charging infrastructure, range anxiety, and performance restriction.
