The government in order to develop a unique,

dedicated and consistent visual identity for

the Harbour organized the “Eye - On Victoria

Call for Victoria Harbour Icon Design”.

The design reveals the special coastline of

the Harbour and its aesthetics by using water

bubbles to form the shape of the Harbour in

between Hong Kong & Kowloon. The bubbles

also mean pearls representing the Pearl of

Orient, which refer to Hong Kong.

HOW TO LOOK TALLER

D E S C R I P T I O N

A book teach people how to look taller in

both practical and funny ways.

In order to match with the content and

make it funnier. The clear graphics style is

used and illustraion is exaggerated.

/

/

Flared, high waist pants give the illusion of longer legs. Flare jeans are flattering because they elon-gate your leg when paired with chic heels. The higher the better!

Here’s another way to look taller that also helps you look thinner: wear tighter clothes. No one is talking about so tight you can’t sit down (or bend over) but tight enough to show off your body and create, say it with me, long lines.

Wearing a skirt/dress with a slit up the side (or up the back or front for

that matter) will definitely make you look taller.

D E S C R I P T I O N

RE. 吧 is a bewery and bar that will

hold the core elements and values of

the old historical Kwun Tong. The busi-

ness provides a pleasant experience

for customers whether they either want

to: relax and/or share their collective

memories. Furthermore, it aims to

restore and retain the image of Kwun

Tong as it was between1950’s-1970s

until it started to deteriorate.

/

The name originates from the words

renew, redevelop, redesign, reborn,

reused to promote the idea something

being used or done again. ‘巴/吧’ is

the same pronounciation with ‘bar‘.

/

The Innovation Tower of Hong Kong

Polytechnic University will be opened

soon. Design for wayfinding system

and pictogram are needed.

/

The set of pictograms is designed by

using outlined stroke with gap. it is

wanted to be casual and innovative

but at the same time it is a tower of an

education institute. Therefore, rounded

strokes and corners collaborating

with some right angles mainly form

the pictogram. The simple stroke and

composition are aimed at enhancing

the legibility and communication of

the pictogram meaning.

D E S C R I P T I O N

The 4 disciplines supergraphics

are designed according their own

charateristics with using the picto-

gram grids and black, outlined idea.

The english short form and chinese

name of the disciplines form the

whole supergraphics. It is easy to

recognized and understand by using

topography with the streams charac-

teristics. Bilingual design (English and

Chinese) is suitable and one of the

special culture in Hong Kong. As a

Hong Kong Design Institute, bilingual

design is also frequently used so it

is interesting and unique to have a

bilingual supergraphics in the tower

to indicate the design disciplines.
