1. Join a professional body to network, learn about the sector

and show your commitment (BPS, Law Society, ACCA)

2. Sign up with Gradlink (Africa, India, China, Malaysia) the

CBBC, UKITC, RBCC or other relevant business council.

3. Get involved with extra curricula activities and societies

Weds 15th October: International Students – Apply your skills in the workplace

Skills are transferable. If you have used a skill competently in one context you are likely to

be able to use it in another. Being clear about the skills you have developed will help you

to be more convincing at selection interviews.

Weds 29th October: International Students – Communicating with confidence

Come and discover how to communicate effectively with employers including completing

application forms, designing CVs and attending interviews.

Weds 10th December: Working in the UK after your studies

Information about immigration routes for those wishing to remain in the UK after they have

completed their studies.
