Government opens door to policy since 1986Tourism has played an important roles in social

economic development, created jobs, earning incomes, promoted local culture and so on.

Since then,….the Lao government has promoted cultural ,natural and historical tourism in the nation

Developed tourism products and marketed the destination

The well-known name as a World Heritage Site for culture and heritage is the selling point for Luang Prabang tourism, as well as its natural beauty. The infrastructure, particularly transportation has been developed and upgraded to a higher standard in order to facilitate tourism development and promotion.

at Laws and regulations regarding World Heritage are

not observed enough Rapid growth in the tourism sector resulting in

higher socioeconomic growth may affect the change in culture and livelihood of Lao people directly.

The fluctuation of the oil price on the world market has tended to increase.

Events in foreign countries, unrest in our neighboring countries, and natural disasters are more likely to affect the tourism sector
