Healthcare in Dubai is on its way to mending its paths. In the end of 2013 it was announced that basic healthcare facilities would be provided to all of its residents in the Health Insurance Scheme.

Regarded and recognized for providing the best healthcare facilities across the world, it is quite advisable for expats to get International Health insurance for themselves as the bills can get quite expensive in a short time.

An expat can apply for a health card from the UAE’s Ministry of Health which allows you to receive care at a public facility.
