WHAT IS A RHETORICAL SITUATION?

A rhetorical situation is a message or event that happens that is trying to persuade the reader to do something.

They normally happen through some kind of communication and happen for various reasons

PARTS OF A RHETORICAL SITUATION

Rhetor: The person that is generating communication and trying to persuade the audience of something

Audience: Whoever the rhetor believes will see their response.

Constraints: Factors affecting the the goal of the rhetorical situation

Exigence: Issue being addressed by the rhetorical situation.
