The self-extinguish atmosphere is harmful? No, the auto-extinguishing atmosphere is natural and is obtained through a process of filtration of the atmosphere that we breathe.

The temperature is lower in the protected rooms?No, the self-extinguishing atmosphere does not affect temperature.

The tecnology N2 FIREFIGHTER® must be ensured by a second system of fire protection, for example fire extinguishers, sprinklers?No, the system is regulated and certified, therefore it’s already redundant itself. It does not require additional fire protection systems.

Come funziona | How does it work

Il triangolo del fuocoLa contemporaneità della presenza di un materiale combustibile, di una percentuale di comburente sufficiente nell’atmosfera che lo circonda e di una adeguata energia, permette di innescare e di mantenere in vita un generico processo di combustione. Combustibile, comburente ed energia sono le tre condizioni necessarie, la cui concomitanza e coesistenza schematizzano e definiscono univocamente il “triangolo del fuoco” ossia la condizione necessaria per l’esistenza di ogni processo di combustione. Le tecniche antincendio hanno come fondamento l’interruzione del triangolo del fuoco in almeno uno dei suoi lati. In generale una tecnica antincendio è tanto più efficace, quanto più rapidamente riesce a rimuovere una o più delle tre condizioni che hanno dato origine e mantengono il fuoco in vita. N2 FIREFIGHTER® previene il problema impedendo attivamente la nascita di ogni possibile combustione.

The fire triangle The presence of combustible material, adequate oxygen in the surrounding atmosphere and a heat source will start and keep a fire burning. These 3 elements: fuel, oxygen and heat comprise the “fire triangle” describing every combustion process. The basis of fire-fighting techniques is to break at least one side of the fire triangle. Generally, a fire-fighting technique has greatest effect if it can very quickly remove one or more of the three conditions which started the fire and keeps it burning. N2 FIREFIGHTER® prevents the problem even occurring by actively removing the possibility of combustion.

SISTEMA AD ASPIRAZIONE Sono impianti che aspirano l’aria dagli ambienti da monitorare compatibili con i più comuni sistemi di rilevazione ad aspirazione fumi. L’aria viene convogliata all’interno del dispositivo di analisi attraverso tubazioni (condotte di aspirazione) che hanno una serie di fori di diametro variabile, calcolato in base alla distanza ed alla dimensione dei locali da monitorare, conforme alla normativa EN 54-20.

SISTEMA AD ANALISI PUNTUALE La rilevazione all’interno degli ambienti da proteggere viene effettuata attraverso dei sensori indipendenti che analizzano l’atmosfera. I risultati vengono inviati alla centrale di controllo al fine di mantenere la più idonea atmosfera auto-estinguente.

SENSOR SYSTEMThe detection in the protected area is carried out through independent sensors which analyze the atmosphere. The results are sent to the control unit in order to maintain the most suitable auto-extinguishing atmosphere.
