A pointing device is another form of input device.
Spatial data refers to data that is continuous and multi-dimensional.

MOUSE

TOUCHPAD
A small, flat, rectangle pointing device that is sensitive to pressure and motion
JOYSTICK
A vertical lever moved to control pointing devices or on-screen objects
TRACKBALL
A stationary pointing device with a ball on top or side.
GAMEPAD
Is the most common kind of game controller, held in both hands with thumbs and fingers used to provide input
GRAPHIC TABLET
A flat, rectangular, electronic, plastic board that is used to create drawings and sketches.
DEFINITION OF OUTPUT DEVICES
Peripheral equipment that converts a computer's output to a form that can be seen, heard, or used as an input for another device, process, or system.

PRINTER
That prints text and graphics on a physical medium such as paper or transparency film

PLOTTER
A larger printer that produces high-quality drawing such as house plan, maps, and circuit diagram
