Introduction of Company:

Nirmala Consol Private Limited is the company formed by the professionals and alumni of VJTI, IIM and IIT. They do have 5 subsidiaries under their banner catering to various needs of Real Estate, Marketing, Agriculture, Event Management and Software.

Consolmark : This is end to end marketing solution provider domain who all are providing various marketing solutions like market research, Competitors analysis, Website Development, Social media marketing and creative brand element generation.

Brightwayz : This domain is into Education sector where they are focussing on various requirements of education sector and try to minimize the existing gap between top B- Schools and tier 2 B- Schools by imparting various sets of services to students from tier 2 B- Schools.

Consol Civil: Through this domain, Consol Civil is providing end to end solutions of real estate. They are providing all relevant service under one roof like Architect services, Liasoning services, Structural services and PMC services.

Consol Hat: Through this domain, Consol Hat offering end to end solutions of event management. They have already done various corporate and political events which has given them ample amount of experience to excel into

this field.

5Berry : In this, they are providing various innovative customised software’s according to the requirement of clients

Under the summer internship, they have assigned me the project “ERP Management” for real estate industry. Under that, I supposed to map the various needs of software industry. I was supposed to find various sectors where we can study the needs of that industry and can fulfil their demands from various software’s

Problem faced by Resident Engineer:

• Maintain master sets of plans and specifications• Prepare partial and final contract payment estimates for the RAW material• Monitor contract funds• Maintain the schedule

• Keep record of all the details which provided by the Resident Engineer• Prepare progress reports• Process and progress reporting• New methods of construction

Problem faced by H.R. & Administration Department:

• Difficult to track office-staff user data• Difficult to track information of labour• Recruitment process creates unnecessary challenges• Contractor's name and address• Name of subcontractor who ordered the material

• Prepare cost estimates of RAW material• Preparing the payroll and paying staff salaries as well keep the previous record• Keep all the record of wages of labor• Purchase order bill record• Record of sold properties

• Challenge to gathered data from other functional areas• Difficult to provide estimate the cost to accounts department• Difficult to find historical data• Difficult to analyzing market research responses

Problem faced by I.T. Department:

• Most of real estate industries use Auto- Cad for designing and drawing, this kind of software not useful for other staff

• Loss of important data• Software which is used in such industries not connected with other functional areas• Security risk is there with data• Piracy of software can harm all the vital information

Finding• Businesses are warding on the ERP to ways their core businesses as well as

The ERP software can be broadly classified into two parts

• Core business management software: Manages the core business functions of an organization (On Field e.g. RAW material details etc)

• Back-end management software: Financial Accounting management software, HR & Payroll management software, etc.

• The process of Bill Generation which is takes place at the end earlier it took 3 months but after implementation of ERP system the whole bill generation process takes maximum 4 days

Impact of ERP on the Role of Management Accountant

• Better information sharing should exist with more timely information and reduced time being spent on data collection by the management accountants

• Reduced time being spent on data collection by the management accountants

• The time spent on data analysis and the focus on internal reporting was not significantly related to perceived ERP success. There was a major decrease in both the time spent on data analysis and internal reporting

• In successful ERP systems, the time spent by management accountants has significantly decreased.

• There exist different types of ERP software for altered industries and an equally huge number of ERP providers too. But, ERP is a domain that needs constant up-gradation, depending on changing business perspectives

• ERP software is credited with simplifying the complex tasks of an organization and increase their output and overall success

• The latest edition of the real estate ERP software allows greater organizational efficiencies through faster data giving out, regular data transfer and real time data updation

• The real estate ERP solutions software is capable of with the description of elasticity, security and competence.

Conclusion • ERP system which we are preparing it is integrating various functional departments e.g.

(Marketing, finance, I.T., H.R.)

• Bill generation process at our client’s site which takes 3 months to complete it will now easily minimize with the help of ERP system

• The growing information needs of an enterprise make it imperative to improve or replace old systems

• Performance measures must be developed and standardized to give organizations a clearer picture of the benefits derived from Enterprise Resource Planning implementation

•  Management accountants and managers found new ways of working with the ERP system, each performing different tasks than before e.g.

a. Operation managers can access the information themselves from the ERP system rather than waiting for the accounting reports

b. Management accountants perform more analysis of results than before
