DIGITIZING ENRICHMENT SHARING

Our 60 scanners allow us to generate more than 12 million views per year of all types of documents:

Arkhênum counsels you in order to propose the best options (scanners, image resolution, naming rules, format files …) for your project.

We can perform our services in our workshops or through “in situ” workshop installed in your premises.

Scanning your collections is the first step to benefit from them. But Digital preservation only makes sense if it comes together with data sustainability and accessibility.

In that respect, Arkhênum can perform on your images all the processing needed:

• Character recognition (OCR)• PDF enrichment with table of contents• Generation of internal (IPTC / XMP)

and external (XML, MIX) metadata• Dublin Core Encoding, EAD, MODS• Indexing: inputting handwritten or

printed fields• Article segmentation (XML ALTO)• Deliverables: METS and/or Refnum• Post processing PAO: curve correction,

image editing
