Adding one Copy Fiction ISBN match

Collect the item

Check back cover for ISBN

Scan (watch for ‘extra codes)

Type in ISBN for 10x13 numbers

Check for the match then F10

File > Copy

Edit info for your location

Adding non fiction no ISBN match

After ISBN search try keyword

For example: People and Places

Brooks ancient places

Check, F10, etc.

Prepare envelopes

Go to Horizon with an existing envelope use Item barcode lookup

Or title search for the generic bib record

F10 copy list

File > Copy to add 1, 2, 3, 4….

(also alt F + y)

way we conduct our inventories and report collection counts. If you can’t find a bib to add a copy to collection code it and send to MLST

Printing Spine LabelsTo print spine labels your computer must recognize the

spine label printer as default. To set as default go to Start Menu > Printers and faxes > Right click and set the Dymo as default

If you want to print labels for a group of items

Choose Batch Print Spine Label with a double mouse click

Click OK

Scan barcode

Hit enter (will print)

Scan next item, hit the enter key
