Requirements of the Baseline Process
To be useful, the baseline must: Provide a business view of the estate Answer 90% of the question before you’ve asked it Reduce your reliance on the experts in other parts of IT
To be feasible, the baseline must be: Automatic Repeatable at no extra cost Fast – feasible to baseline on an ongoing basis Robust against failure
