How Red Bull took fan engagement to new heights

Challenge Red Bull needed a way to connect and engage fans across multiple channels before, during and after the event

The live blog has taken on a life of its own, extending the brand and helping fans to not only better understand the events, but become part of the experience themselves. The stream had 675,000 unique page views with an average of 21 minutes on the page.

Results

Red Bull used Engage to implement a stream on their website, using it as a live blog and interaction portal. They were instantly able to produce constant, real-time commentary while injecting UGC from their social channels

Solution

“We have our regulars – we call them av-geeks – who are with us for the whole weekend and they’re actually talking to each other and answering each other’s questions. So we feel like that’s the Holy Grail”

– Kirsten Corrigan, Digital Strategy, Red Bull
