Sorry I can’t be there with you tonight, but needed to give a talk to Ripponden Gardening Club instead. (No, it’s about a charity!)

We had a great time at the IoF North Social Media Conference in York and showed that there is a lot of potential up here for charities to develop their use of social media.

We also showed that we can put on events to match the London-based ones, at a significantly lower price and still get a good sized audience! (Sorry, it’s just too far and too expensive to get down to the smoke and we have a whole bunch of lovely fundraisers and charity staff up here desperate for training and encouraging.)

I thought you’d like to see the initial feedback results from the York event, they’re something quite special…
