Gathering blue by Lois Lowry this story accept you to fell like you mother has die and you don’t have anyone to take care of you.In the beginning kira mother is very sick and her dad is has die so then her mother die and she trys to save her house . But this mean lady with all her friends took her .so kira has to live at this place where childeren go when they don’t have a family .then kira has meet these people named Thomas and Matt she has been friends with them for a long time.Later on she is niting and Thomas says I have a surprise for you and kira didn’t know what it was .when Thomas came back he had a blind man with him kira didn’t know who it was finilly she remerbered that people wherer talking about a man that got lost in the woods.
