“…the Order seeks to ensure that the program is geared towards meeting the broadband needs of schools and libraries in today's world of interactive, individualized digital learning.”

“The Order adopts, as bandwidth targets, the State Education Technology Directors Association's (SETDA) recommendation for Internet access for schools of at least 100 Mbps per 1,000 students and staff (users) in the short term and 1 Gbps Internet access per 1,000 users in the longer term.”
