New Record Breaks, New Clients, New Cargos, New Colleagues, New Job,

New Boss, New addition to the family, New Life partner - all new experiences are

always exciting, But sometimes it can even make one nervous.

Not only nervous, one can experience very mixed emotions. There are days when one

feels life is like a pretty picture seen through rosy glasses. There are

some days when nothing goes right and life looks very grim and gloomy.

Remember, at all these Times, keeping a positive attitude and wearing a smile always

helps!

Keep the Faith and Keep Smiling - at work and more importantly at home as well!

Single largest Granite Shipment: PSTS breaks its own record inPort of Chennai

PSTS handled the single largest shipment of granite blocks of 34,683 MTfrom the Port of Chennai to Europe through MV Port Land Castle on 25thJan 2008. The Navalmar team and PSTS team celebrated this recordbreak in style on 26th Jan which happens to be PSTS Family Day!

PSTS Heavy Lift & Shift Ltd holds 12th Annual General Meeting

On 20th December 2007, the 12th AGM of PHLS was held in Hotel MarinaTowers, Chennai. At the meeting, new Directors Dr.Nanda Kumar and

Mr.SK Gandhimathinathan were appointed in the place of outgoingDirector Mr.Narayanaswamy and late Mr.Sivalingam. The highlight of the meetingwas the declaration of 7% dividend for the year 2006-2007.

PSTS Logistics and PHLS join hands to offer unique logistics solution to HyundaiEngineering & Construction Company at the Port of Ennore

PSTS Logistics did the Project Clearance for Hyundai Dredger “ASANHO” which arrived in Ennore Port forcapital dredging of the Port of Ennore.

PHLS undertook the unique operation by unloading the pipes on the seaside of the vessel MV ASTRID onto abarge and later unloaded at the finger jetty and finally transported the same to the site a few kilometers awaywithin the port. The Pontoons were dropped into the harbour basin and later towed by boats and tied at theshore.

Santa visited Smile School jingling and wishing everyone merry Christmas. Children cutcake, danced and sang along with Santa and welcomed the New Year with fun & happiness.

Graduation Day at The Vikasa School

Yet another academic year came to an end! The graduation ceremony marked theclass of 2008 bidding farewell. The tiny tots entertained their seniors with a play"Children's Day Out".The day also marked the donation of Rs.2,50,000 raised bythe school for a building project of the underprivileged.The cheque was handedover by the Chairman of The Vikasa School, Mr.T.Velsankar to the representativeof Little Sisters of the Poor.

New Year Celebrations in C&F Dept

Members of C&F Dept along with Executive Director, Mr.U.Sathish Kumarcelebrated New Year 2008 with much joy. Master Rakesh, son of Mr.N.Ganesancut the cake. There was plenty of music and fun. It was truly a memorable daysharing and exchanging happiness all the way!

626th Jan Family Day “ -TuticorinPSTS Family Day was celebrated in the office premises in Tuticorin. Children were greeted with a goody pouchand their happiness was seen soaring high like the bubbles blown by them. The entire gathering remained in twominute silence in remembering the Founder Mr.PSTS.thiraviaratnam, followed by floral tributes by one and all.All members of the PSTS family received mementos for their valuable service.
