My name is Maggie and I am a Service

Dog.

Jane Smith of Bright Futures Rescue,

Creston, OH saved me from the shelter and brought me to her home. I was then placed with

Thank you Jane Smith from Bright Futures Rescue for saving Maggie from the shelter and Viktoria from Victory Tails Dog Training in Ohio and Pam from Circle Farm in Fort Knox for training our girl to the best that she can be! Together we save them! Amber Schultz: As Sam’s wife, I can say that words cannot express how much of a difference having Maggie has made in our family. She has been a God-send to Sam…helped him in so many ways. He is able to get out and live life. He enjoys going and doing things now…THANK YOU Guardians of Rescue and what you do for our service men and women. Without Maggie, I am not sure where my Sam would be!

This is Maggie and Sam. This was our rescue dog who is now a service dog to an active army soldier who suffers from PTSD and TBI. She has saved Sam like we saved her. She came from Pulaski Shelter, KY. Check out her vest, her photo ID and her stars. Sam and Maggie are happy and we are proud at Bright Futures Rescue! Thank you guardians of Rescue!

PAWS OF WAR: A big thank you to United States Army vet, Sam Schultz of Fort Knox,Kentucky. Sam was living on base when he first contacted Guardians of Rescue. He served in Afghanistan and is now retired from the Army. He knows the reality and severity of TBI and PTSD, isolation, depression and hyper vigilance to name a

few. That's where Maggie came in. Maggiewas given to Sam through our Paws of War program and she has helped give Sam back his independence. Now Sam goes everywhere and is giving back to other veterans in need! He has been fostering, transporting, and has become an active member of our organization. And this duo is helping to erase the stigma associated with PTSD!

Thank you Paws of Warmembers Sam and Maggie!
