WHY INDOOR NAVIGATION ?

• Due to GPS restriction indoors, wayfinding and location awareness is difficult in indoor spaces, where we actually spend more than 80% of our time.

• The feeling of being drained and disoriented and frustrated having walked around an exhibition several times and still can’t find what you’re looking for

• Large catalogues, unclear maps and fragmented information have always been a limitation while visiting exhibitions.

• You can’t find the booth ,shop, class or gate you’re looking for but it’s around here somewhere!

• You only have a few minutes to spare at the event or a mall to pick up something quickly, you need to make it to class on time, your flight is about to take off..

NAV&GO –INDOOR NAVIGATION SOLUTION

Nav&Go is a smartphone app that makes indoor navigation easy for public spaces including:




Nav&Go – Our Feature Set




SIGN UP & REGISTRATION

• Users to sign up to use the application

• User will be able to skip login by using Guest login

• Users can sign up with an email or using Facebook

• If they sign up we gather information about the user including their name, date of birth, gender, email, and country.




MAP AND LIST OF ALL VENUES

• Once the user logs in, the user is presented with all the venues (mall, museums, events, etc.) that are covered on the app

• Users also have the choice of listing the places supported by the app

• Users can add a place to his favorite

• A user can click on the venue to open the map




INDOOR NAVIGATION

• User can browse the map

• User can click on a booth and find out more about it, e.g. information

• User can locate the booth they are looking for, and then identify their closest landmark to navigate to there.




LIST MORE INFO ABOUT THE MALL & SHOPS

• User can click to find out more about the venue

• User can view a list of all booths

• User can filter the booth and restaurants by categories and sub-categories

BEACON TECHNOLOGY

Beacons are a low cost piece of hardware, Small enough to attach to a wall or countertop.It uses battery-friendly, low-energy Bluetooth connections to transmit messages or prompts to a smartphone or tablet.

HOW DO WE MANAGE THE MAPS?

Bright Creations have developed their own Mapping Technology to map out locations which provides the ability to:

• Identify items (e.g. shops, restaurants, etc.) and adding it’s information including name, icon, category, etc.

• Add entry points and exit points for each shop/restaurant/amenity and the mall itself

• Identify paths within the event, e.g. walkways, and provide easy tools to align pathways including drag and drop, align middle, align center, etc.

• Add multiple floors connected through escalators, elevators and staircases• Save updates and publish the map only when required




HOW DO WE MANAGE THE DATA?

Bright Creations have developed their a specialized Content Management System (CMS) to manage the data including:

• Users – managing which administrators can update maps for each mall• Locations - adding and updating location information• Events - Adding and updating events• Items - adding and updating “item” types, (an item could be a booth, restaurant,

WC, entrance/exit or other) and the types of attributes related to each one• Categories – managing the categories and sub-categories in the system
