The history of Coca-Cola counts more than 120 years and today it has resulted in more than 2800 drinks, whereas Sprite is one of the most popular and in-demand one. Its brand joined company’s product range in the early 1960s. At present, Sprite is ranked seventh on the global market of soda drinks, having 8% share. Sprite is the 3rd most popular Coca-Cola brand, being inferior to only Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Diet. Then, it required the development of a mobile-friendly platform to take selfies. Providing technical assistance, it was necessary to present accessible and user-friendly tool to take part in the promo and make the process of taking selfies as simple as possible. should have been realized throughout distribution of participants’ selfies, published with #ozunkimiol hash tag (#iamwhatiam) across social networks, and their appearance in the feed of a main platform. It is there participants could vote for the best selfies, and the winners were awarded with VIP-passes to the grandest venues of the country to make selfie with a national celebrity. SOLUTIONS During the project, the entire range of technical services was completed: development and implementation of the promo’s main platform by means of Amazon Web Services cloud; its integration with social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter); incorporation of UCT codes mechanics to increase viral effect; development of a mobile version; utilization of antifraud systems; selfies and participant’s profile photos moderation in the real-time mode.

“Be Yourself” hashtag #ozunkimiol is one of the most

popular in Instagram amongst the Azerbaijani.

During the first day more than 100 photos were published

on Instagram with hash tag #ozunkimiol. In a month the

number has reached 3000.

Since the promo start, the amount of codes registered per

day has increased by 80%, while the number of user

registrations per day increased by 200%. By the end of the

first week users started to win the main prizes of the

promo.

FUTURE STEPS

Pinterest, Youtube).

“Successful implementation of a promo in social media is always a challenge for a team of developers, designers and

project managers. In this case we were intended to develop a promo for everyone, not only for social networks’ regulars.

The promotion thereupon was based on a platform that did both, “conducted prize drawing” and “allowed” every user to join

the activity, including those with no account in social networks.
