The Girl On The Train Company Idents in Trailer These are the two company idents shown before the teaser trailer for ‘The Girl On The Train’. They are both shown in fast bursts, each for only a second long. They have no accompanying music, which corresponds with the mood of the film, slowly leading the audience into the actual trailer. The Girl On The Train – Company Idents in TrailerThese are the two company idents shown before the teaser trailer for ‘The Girl On The Train’. They are both shown in fast bursts, each for only a second long. They have no accompanying music, which corresponds with the mood of the film, slowly leading the audience into the actual trailer. Both of these idents are very simplistic, but powerful at the same time. The both hold the colour theme of blues, which is a classic colour running through other idents from both Universal and DreamWorks. In inspiration for our ident, I believe we will chose a colour theme that links with our company name. This is similar to DreamWorks and Universal; both of their names relate to Earth, Sky etc… , mirroring that in their visual graphics and colour scheme.

Gone Girl – Company Idents in TrailerSimilarly to The Girl On The Train, this company idents are very simplistic with no major changes being made to the logos based on the genre. The 20th Century Fox logo involves movement, moving from the top of the logo downwards. The regency logo is completely still. I think our would probably be slightly more colourful than these. I don’t like the minimal, bland colours in the 20th Century Fox title. It could be a lot more exciting, but instead it just feels boring.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows– Company Ident in TrailerThis ident used in the trailer for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, is the only ident I have seen which has been adapted to fit the mood of the trailer. This Warner Bros Picture ident has been changed from its original bright colourful state, to a dark, blackened version. This fits in with the theme of dark magic used in Harry Potter. Similarly, in our company ident I want to make sure the colours are either a classic look, or suit the genre and themes of the film idea.
