OVERVIEW STATS - Q4 2016

Almost 3 billion views from the top

marketers’ channels

Top 3 channels account for 31% of total

views in Q4

Slow and steady increase in Q4 show

how relevant video marketing is to

prepare for the holiday season.

At the beginning of the quarter, total

views among the top channels were

only 31 million, versus the before

Christmas, when views were almost 312

million.

Lego maintained their lead from Q2,

while Barbie slipped from #2 to #6 and

Disney dropped from #3 to #16.

Lego boosted views at the beginning

of Q4 and experienced steady growth

through the end of the year.

Clash of Clans experienced big swells

in November and December

By ramping up Q4 volume and video

marketing, PlayStation moved into the

Top 10 after being absent from the top

50 in Q2.

Industry trend alert! Retail brands

were the top three channels to

add to their video library

Lego uploaded the most videos in

the time period and increased

their library by 12%

Coca Cola increased their library

by 38% coinciding with their

famous polar bears during

Christmas. As a global brand that

relies on storytelling to

communicate their values, Coca

Cola uses consistent images and

nostalgia to create timeless

advertisements.

TOP 3 MOST ENGAGING VIDEOS

Clash of Clans dominated the

engagement game with two of

their videos being in the top 3

Long video? No problem. Clash of

Clans had a video over 10 minutes

long that ranked 3rd among most

engaging videos on YouTube in

Q4. Engagement is best captured

when you provide your audience

with the content they want to see

Overall, Q4 was a good time to

capture consumer attention with

great engagement for top brands

with a 9% net increase over the

previous quarters.
