A Meat Free Diet

+

Our Body is Not Designed to Process Meat

Compared with a true carnivore’s intestines, which are 6 feet in length, our intestines are 20 feet.

It takes meat up to 72 hours to pass through our whole body.

6-8 of those hour are spent in our stomach and small intestines alone.

That means the meat you consume will be in your body for 3 days at a temperature of 98.6 degrees.

+

The main reason why meat is so harmful to our bodies:• Saturated Fats• Cholesterol

+

What are their dangers?

Both cholesterol and saturated fats disrupt normal blood flow by accumulating in the arteries as plague. This makes it difficult for blood to travel to all areas of your body, and as a result halting many major bodily functions and causing blood clots.

+Processed Meats

Processed meats are particularly dangerous because they contain a toxic substance called Sodium Nitrate.

Sodium Nitrate increases the amount of sodium in our body leading to both diabetes and heart disease.

Sodium disrupts the way our body breaks down sugars and raises blood pressure, which strains our heart.

Includes:

Hot dogs, bacon, sausage, ham, canned meat, and cold cuts.

+

Nutrients that are more prevalent in a vegetarian:• Omega-6 fatty acids• Fiber• Folic Acid• Vitamin C• Vitamin E• Potassium• Magnesium• Isoflavones (lowers blood

cholesterol levels)• Carotenoids• Antioxidants

+Additional reasons for considering a meat-free diet:

Meat is Expensive

When planned correctly, you will lose weight. I can tell you from experience having lost 40 pounds since becoming a vegetarian!

Eliminating meat will open your eyes to many different plant-based foods you might have never tried before.

The meat industry is extremely corrupt in every aspect. Animals are tortured from the second they’re born and force fed food that their bodies are not meant to digest.
