Introduction:
GSK is a very popular, and not to forget, highly prosperous multinational organization which works on international bases.
This association has introduced many products in the field of medicines, domestic use products and dietary supplements.
History:During the early 80s, two companies, by the name of
Glaxo and smith Kline existed, which were later merged by their owners, to give us GlaxoSmithKline as what it is today.
The company expanded on large scale and soon became a multinational with an enormous range of products.
Products:GSK is a leading manufacturer of medicines and
dietary supplements.
It also takes part in the manufacture of day to day use products, for example, hand sanitizers, hygienic wipes etc.
GSK is also taking steps to launch new products.
Latest ideas: Being a multinational, the company is also
planning to get into food industry.
Hygienic packing of cooking oil, juices etc are now being considered and soon GSK shall be launching new products.
Research says that it is also expanding to electronics.

Explanation: Deferred Annual bonus plan:
The deferred annual bonus plan encourages long term shareholding, discourages excessive risk taking and help focus on GSK’S key strategic priorities.
Performance share: the performance share plan ensure focus on the delivery of GSK’S strategic priorities and long term share holder’s returns relative to other pharmaceutical companies.
Competitors: In the vast industrializing world, there
is obviously room for business competition. Similarly, GSK has many competitors.
The highly classified companies namely Novartis, Pharma, Abbott, Nutrilite, Parke Davis etc, are all competitors of GSK.
They also have a vast range of medical products and compete at a very critical state.
Why GSK? Customer feedback and statistical data
says that as compared to other companies, 63% of people still recommend GSK products for use.
It is the most reputed supplier up till now and also the oldest.
It guarantees quality products and does not compromise on it.
