Mission and Overview

Mission: To destroy stored overpacked mustard munitions and DOT cylinders as well as rejects, leakers and contaminated bursters from PCAPP operations in a safe and efficient manner that is protective of human health (workers and residents) and the environment.Performers:

Pre-operational inspection checklist


Daily Site Activities: Hour 3 (continued)

Weather conditions – lightning, snow, tornado, flooding, high winds

Are required personnel on site? Are emergency services available? Are communication systems

operational? Is security present? Is power and water available? Has EDS pre-operational checklist

been completed? LCO’s must be signed off daily by

RCMD Site Manager and ECBC Supervisor prior to receiving munitions

Neutralent pumped into vessel Vessel rotation Neutralent sample collected,

analyzed Neutralent drained Water added to vessel, steam heated Vessel reaches 100 degrees Celsius,

held for two hours Water drained Vessel filled with cold water, rotated Second water rinse drained
