AGENDA

WHY STORYTELLING

OUR PUBLIC IMAGE

Research tell us that people are not aware or unfamiliar with Rotary. Most people when they think of Rotary think of us as a sign along a road when you enter into a town or a plaque in a park.

And those that recognize the name, do not know who Rotary is or what we do

Awareness does not equal understanding10-May-20164

Why is recognition and understanding important?

Sense of pride and inspire our members to get more involved

Recruit new volunteers and members

Support fundraising efforts

Attract new partners

What does that mean for us?We are not getting recognition for the amazing work that we do in communities around the worldService workInvesting in our youth from interact/rotaract/RYLA/YE programs to all the scholarships and fellowships

Why is understanding important?Gives our members a sense of pride when people in the community know RotaryHelps with attracting new members and volunteersHelps with fundraising effortsHelps attract new partners10-May-20165
