St Blaize Hiking Trail, Mossel Bay Walk the trail at your own risk Trail description The St Blaize Trail follows the 30m contour above the ocean. It starts at the Cape St Blaize cave below the lighthouse at the Point, Mossel Bay and ends at Dana Bay. The trail can be walked in either direction. There is parking at the start and end. Degree of difficulty Moderate. Please do not underestimate this trail. Exits are far from main roads and the town centre. Level of Fitness required Reasonable fitness is required. Important For your own safety do not walk alone Take water to drink, there is none available on the trail Wear proper shoes Take a hat and sun block Carry water- and windproof clothing Arrange transport for the end Cell phone signal cannot be guaranteed for the full length of the trail Beware of Snakes, especially puff adders, love basking in the sun along the trail and often will not move off the path. Flying golf balls where the trail crosses the Pinnacle Point golf course.
