Reflection On Filming

How It Went For Me…

Page 2: Reflecting on filming

• I think altogether the filming was extremely successful, we got everything done way before we needed to. Apart from a few weather hiccups it was very fun and enjoyable to film.

LUKES HOUSE

• Our first filming session was done on the 18th October at Luke’s house. That day of filming was very successful as we got the first living room scene (first part of our music video) done within 2 hours.

WEATHER

• The weather was a bit of a pain. On the first day of filming we planned to meet up during half term, however there was a ‘massive’ storm which prevented this day of filming from going ahead.

HYDE PARK FILMING

• We filmed the second half of our music video in Hyde park. Apart from the odd squirrel and the public getting in the way of the camera and people wanting to hover in the background to watch us film, this day was also very successful.

• The only thing that we later realized about the filming in Hyde park was the shot of my feet and the dancers feet. There is a shot before that that shows one of the dancers without a coat on however when the shot cuts to the feet, she has a coat on. This error unfortunately now cannot be fixed because it’s the only shot we got from that day of our feet so we cant redo it

MILE END SKATEPARK FILMING • The weather again was quite a pain

because it was SOOOOOOOO cold on the Sunday that we decided to film the film part of the music video.

• We all met up at 2:30 and it seemed to get colder and colder as the hours passed and we eventually finished at around 6pm.

SO WE ARE FINISHED…

• …with the filming anyway, the next stage is to edit edit edit! Which we have already done. We just need to add a few more effects and change a few things and then we’ll be the best music video the world has ever seen ;)
