This is a poster for the NSPCC charity.

This advert is appealing as the girl is giving direct contact towards the camera. This would make the audience more engaged and interacted with the poster.

This shot is a close up shot, this enables the audience to view the expressions on her face and it shows her emotions, coming across as being quite sad.

The piercing on her lip is effective as it relates to the text on the poster ‘ When you cant talk about abuse, talk to us’. It is giving a sense that she cannot speak because the piercing is closing her lips together. I think it is effective because you instantly notice the piercing on her lips. Overall, the poster looks appealing for its purpose, because it would address the audience as they see that the girl does not look happy.

This is a poster for the WWF charity. The image stands out because it is centred in the middle of the poster, automatically drawing the audience’s eye to the image.

The text ‘ The lives of these polar bears are in your hands’ is effective towards the audience because it uses the word ‘your’ which makes them feel like it is directed at them.

The image relates to the text as the polar bears in edited in someone's hands. This is effective as the audience are able to visualise what the text meant.
