How publishers choose games ?
Each month, a publisher may receive up to several dozens of applications from game developers
But only a few of them successfully pass through all selection stages
To answer this question, a game must undergo estimation consisting of several stages
Testing
Analytics
Producer's estimation
Expert panel
Top management approval
Main stages of game estimation:
Testing
• Game testing team consists of 5-10 people;
• The stage of internal testing lasts for up to 2 days;
• To carry out focus group testing, around 20 people are selected from gaming communities (according to the genre's target audience);
• The results of focus group questioning are taken into account further when the game is being discussed by the board of producers.
Factors considered while testing:
Belonging to target genres
Portability to other platforms
Plot originality
Newness of game mechanics
Absorbing qualities of gameplay
Graphics and sounds quality
Viral mechanisms
Monetization model
Analytics
• The main aim of analytics team is to evaluate the game's marketing prospects;
• Competitive environment and genre trends are taken into consideration;

In Brave Tales you must fight with enemies by using a variety of characters and explore worlds
together with them
It immediately suggests that there are several characters in the game, not one. This fact alone makes the game different from standard RPG with its story revolving around one main
character.
The game has atmospheric music, nice interface, interesting system of sharing with friends, which, in fact,
attracts friends almost directly as it's always nice to receive additional character from your friend!
