are firstly visual in nature

Drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, film, graphics,

television, architecture and environmental arts

Visual arts such as mosaics and sculptures

often send a message or story

Physical sculptures, paintings and works of

art that are 3D

A visual art appeal primarily to the visual sense and typically

exists in permanent form

Visual art has been carried on through generations from cave men drawings and engravings to modern day sculptures and

films

Visual art is more or less anything we can look at e.g. architecture

and buildings, films and television, drawing, jewellery and

wood work

People can create visual art to get thoughts across such as preventing global warming
