PA ETEP will be used to document the observation.

Differentiated Supervision will be started in 2015-2016.

Differentiated Supervision is optional. Eligible teachers

◦ Tenured teachers who have received a “Satisfactory” rating in the last two years

Non Eligible teachers◦ Non-tenured teachers◦ Teachers who are new to a building or grade level

for the first year

Teachers will be in a three-year cycle. ◦ 2015-2016 Differentiated Supervision◦ 2016-2017 Differentiated Supervision◦ 2017-2018 Formal Observation

Teachers can opt in the cycle next year or opt out if necessary.

Principals may remove a teacher from Differentiated Supervision.

Teachers will collect evidence listed in the plan in a portfolio.

PA ETEP will be used to document the plan.

There are three Differentiated Modes ◦ Peer Coaching Mode◦ Self-Directed Model/Action Research Mode◦ Portfolio Mode

The teacher chooses one mode to do for the year.

PA ETEP includes an “Other” option. Teachers working in groups need to submit

a plan for each teacher.

triads. ◦ Teachers develop a structured, ongoing reflection

relation to the Danielson Framework for Teaching ◦ Teachers will reflect in a written report or

◦ Evidence may include meeting notes, data, results of observations, and reflections.
