How did the genre of your music magazine attract them?My magazine attracts my audience as it conforms to youth lifestyle trends in terms of the content and having an article that relates to up and coming artists, fashion trends and the latest album releases and concerts. This shows themes if celebrities and partying.

Also the colour scheme uses bright vibrant purples that stereotypical link to young females and my audience questionnaire showed this t be a popular colour scheme amongst young females.

Furthermore my magazine targets the individualist that wants to discover new things because of my new music focus.

What images did you take, use and then edit to attract your target audience?

Main image - wide, long shot

My main image uses direct eye line to make the messages more personal towards my target audience.

Contents page – wide, canted, mid shot

The canted shot makes it more interesting to look at and it establishes the models as being interesting and fun.

Double page spread – mid shot, drop shadows and layers

The shadows are in different colours and make the images stand out also the layering makes the pictures more visually interesting too look at.

How did your choice of models conform/subvert stereotypes of the music genre that you chose? My choice of models subverts from the music genre because of their facial expressions and poses. The fact that they are standing together with arms around each other shows their sisterly bond and represents close family this shows how Cleopatra rose to fame but still kept family as a main focus whereas a stereotypical R&B magazine may promote the ‘Gangster’ lifestyle and getting rich no matter what. My magazine promotes a healthier and more positive lifestyle for young people.

How did your cover lines and main double page spread attract your audience? My Cover lines and Headlines use puns and punchy sentences to add a fun and creative element and to attract young audiences that would colloquially speak in slang.

Also the themes are relevant to my target age group as there is content on education, Celebrities, progression, and music. This helps my target audience with growing up and reaching their life's goals and also offers entertainment.

I would uses all of these to access my target audience by creating Facebook, twitter and Instagram accounts so that they can stay connected with the magazine on the go. Also a TV program that followed a chat show format where my audience would be able to meet there favourite celebrities.
