Peru lives since the end of the last decade of the twentieth

century a steady growth in the construction industry, driven

mainly by rising household incomes, higher public and

private investment, both direct consequence of the growth

economic and also by improving financing conditions for the

acquisition of public housing

WHY THE CONSTRUCTION GROWTH?

The expansion of domesticdemand as a result of increasingpopulation and economic growth

Increased private investment, wellsupported by the public.

Construction of houses andshopping centers, favored by theconditions of access to financingmortgages promoted by the stateand other private financial sources.

Increased demand for housing

responds to the growing number

of families with higher incomes

and capacity to purchase

mortgages, also the affordable

interest rates and shares.

Large number of housing

projects primarily for low and

lower middle class that is

increasing very significantly

thanks to the performance of

popular housing programs as

My Home, Own Roof, among

others.

In recent years has been built, expanded or improvedtens of thousands of homes in the country, which wereplaced predominantly in the area of the middle class inapparent ascent.

The building intended for middle and upper middle classpopulation is mainly aimed at apartment buildings.

The total construction of

houses and apartments

totaled 44,215 units in

2012, a figure which showed

a growth of 10.9%.

In Lima 21 990 homes were

sold in 2012, the highest

number in the last 17 years.

There is a deficit of $ 50

billion in infrastructure.

No doubt that the booming construction industry in our

country is underway and its dynamism is felt

everywhere. Henceforth it is estimated that the growth

and potential of the construction market in Peru will

progressively open an important way to internal and

neighboring countries financial investments.
