What we decided so far…• We have chosen an age rage of 15+ this is due to the content within the film

trailer it is not suitable for younger ages. Majority of horror films nowadays are 15 rated so they can use the content they want to portray. Noticeably, rarely any horror films are 18 anymore, probably due to the fact that if you can get a wider but yet still mature and suitable/ appropriate audience the opportunity should be taken. It’s understood that young teenagers enjoy getting the thrill and ‘on the edge’ feeling and have more budget to spend watching films from film trailers..

• Our target audience is not designated to specific people/jobs/gender/race, however the main target Group E as they are 15 and above but closer to the 15 mark so our age range is targeted to 15-30. This does not mean it is prohibited for a 31 year old to watch our film its just more people within this age range enjoy horror, to show this Lunar Productions will be doing a questionnaire to prove this. Group E is mainly students, unemployed and pensioners, this is because they will have more free time to watch the film rather than being at work. Both of them will be able to have the luxury budget to buy the film or spend money watching it from seeing the trailer. Therefore we have followed the stereotypical life of a student, pensioner or unemployed. The unemployed have more time and the student and pensioners have the money to spend, ulitmately.
