Y2 SHORT FILM –

‘Interview 17’

Synopsis

• Set primarily in an office during a job interview• Main character (Ryan) is asked a series of questions by

an unnamed interviewer• Interviewer leaves the room, telling Ryan to leave the

box that has been on the desk alone• Ryan ignores the Interviewer’s instructions and attempts

to open the box• The Interviewer is seen walking down a corridor into a

security room, where footage of Ryan trying to open the box is on a monitor

• Ryan eventually manages to force the box open• The Interviewer returns, informing Ryan that he is hired• Camera goes back to the security room, panning out to

show multiple people in identical rooms trying to open similar boxes
