Location

Our school is located in the city centre, at number 13, Studencka Street. Opposite, the best public high school is located.

A patron and a historyAdam Mickiewicz – a national Polish poet is a patron of our school.Our school was founded in 1892 as the primary school number 13. In 1999 a secondary school was founded. Since 2004 there is only a secondary school here.

Our school uniform

The school uniform consists of – a blue T-shirt with the logo of the school and with a dark blue collar. On special occasions we wear black, grey or dark blue trousers (boys and girls) or skirts (only girls), a white shirt and a tie with the logo of the school.

The gymLast year (2011) a renovation of the old gym and a construction of the new one ended. Now we have good conditions for our PE lessons.

A fume hood

Two years ago in the Chemistry Classroom a construction of a new fume was completed. Here difficult and dangerous experiments are carried out.

The canteen and the school shopThere is a canteen in our school, where dinners are given, and there is a school shop, where you can buy a packet lunch.

Shoe cupboard

Every student has his or her shoe cupboard.

Foreing languages

Apart from English, every student chooses one of three foreign languages which they would like to learn – Spanish, French or German.
