• About 70 percent of high school seniors say they are going to college.

• About 50 percent actually do attend college.• Of those, about 30 percent drop out by the end of the

freshman year.• Of those, approximately 50 percent require five to six

• All clusters are of high interest.• Person may be multi-talented and multi-interested.• Person is probably ready to choose an occupation or a

major.• Person needs assistance to determine which of the

clusters to use in Work and which to use in other life roles (Citizen or Leisurite, for example).

Meaning of Profile 3 - Holland


Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources – The production, processing, marketing, distribution, financing, and development of agricultural commodities and resources including food, fiber, wood products, natural resources, horticulture, and other plant and animal products/resources.Architecture and Construction – The design, planning, management, and maintenance of buildings and other structures.Arts, A/V Technology, and Communications – The design, production, exhibition, performance, and publication of multimedia content including visual and performing arts, journalism, and entertainment.Business Management and Administration – The planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of business functions essential to efficient and productive business operations.
