ONLINE TRANSLATORS!Reasons not to use Online Translators!

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT USE ONLINE TRANSLATORS!

1. It’s cheating! It’s plagiarism! You will receive a zero on the assignment.

2. They don’t work- they translate literally, word for word- which isn’t how language works!

3. They make mistakes and you will sound dumb- or maybe even offensive.

4. It’s lazy- you are learning anything. 5. They don’t know what you mean! They can’t proofread

or know that you meant a proper noun. 6. They don’t know what you know so they will not

conjugate verbs correctly! They use tenses that you haven’t learned or might use a participle instead of a verb.

BUT REALLY…

The 1st reason is the main one!

It’s CHEATING! If I think you used an online translator then I will give you a zero!

This is a French class- you are supposed to be LEARNING!

WHAT CAN I USE?

You can use www.wordreference.com- it’s an online dictionary! NOT a translator.

And you should take advantage of what’s in your COURSE! The online textbook, the announcements, the Collaborate lessons and reviews.
