Narration: In 2004, Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg and his
roommates: Eduardo
Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes and was limited to just Harvard and Stanford students. In 2005, they opened an invitation for high schoolers and now
they even allow users to be as young as 13. There are 800M users and the reason behind this great
phenomenon is to foster day-to-day social networking and
communication where it
may otherwise be difficult.
