The animated Colombia begins with a bright light and a statue of a woman standing normally, however all of a sudden her hair changes and gets longer. The music also starts to be a little more tense.

This part shows that of a blink of an eye, the colour of the picture goes dark suddenly and we only see the brightness of the torch she holds.

Here we see a dramatic change on to how the Colombia title changes into a Capital letter saying grudge 2 which is the name of the film. The background turns pitch black with just a pale face of the woman and still seeing the bright light shinning.

Here to we see a shot of a door handle being open this suggest who’s room are we about to see or perhaps who opened the door. The door handle looks old and its being shown in a way that everything at the side is being shown in dark, including the side background being blurred just so that the audience can concentrate on the handle only.

In this 2nd shot of the door we see how more light is being reflected on it. Its as thought the director is trying to get us to focus on the door until something will happen. The purpose of it is so that it brings a sudden anxiety.

Here the door makes a loud shut noise and quickly the camera zooms in getting a closer look of the door. This brings out an effect that its taken 4 shots of different ways to make the door look interesting. With it’s ways of darkness and light appearance.

A close shot of the door keyhole framing one side of a skeleton’s face. It shows a clear bright shot of the face at first but then starts to fade away as it moves on.

This title near the door just tells us that it’s a horror movie. The camera here shows a clear name and a simple white colour to match with the skeleton’s face allowing us to read what it says.

The two bars makes the skeleton look framed up while looking.

All sentences are written in capital letters. After one sentence is shown we see another separate shot on its own appear repeating just one of the word that came up in the previous sentence which is written in red. This is to show and give an idea to the audience what are the two things that happens during the film.

An established shot is being shown. By looking at this shot you wouldn’t think it’s horror because the sound of the music changes into a normal background with the sound of cars peeing and traffic noises.

Straight after the mid shot it changes to this Low angle shot and it makes it look like it’s framed with the trees at the sides and over lapsing the house. We see the brightness of the sun at the side to represent the day light. You can hear raven’s corking at the same time. The director choose this bird sound of the raven instead of an actual squeaky bird because it sounds more vicious and scarier to hear.

The horror music stops and we see the first character. At this point we see him at a medium low angle shot. The character speaks in an aggressive voice showing his upset about something. As you can see the woman at the right side is being blurred out slightly to concentrate on the man.

Here we have the second character taken at wide shot. She’s represented as a quite woman just doing what she’s told. As she doesn’t say a word while the first character speaks.

This shot is taken at a framed mid-shot. The man stares at the food and say ‘’ You make me a simple dame breakfast’’ This suggests the fact that the man seems upset with his wife, she’s slowly tempting to do something to him as we see her going towards the back of him still holding the pan.

The woman’s quietness and the way she keeps her head down seems like there’s something suspicious about her.

Page 9: Media prsentation

Both shots are being taken at the same angle of the camera. The sounds are clearly loud and effective so we can hear the burning sounds of the hot oil on the man’s head. In the second one we can see the woman’s not done yet by just poring it on his head but we also see her lunging to try and attempt something else.

She’s shows the same face expression throughout. You can tell that she doesn’t seem to care at all.

Page 10: Media prsentation

We see her arms go across as she hit the man with the pan.An angry face expression

builds up

The smokes comes out everywhere and we can tell the man’s screaming his head off.

At this point from the previous shot the audience may have guessed she would of done something.

Page 11: Media prsentation

This is an High angle shot. We can see the woman at the side looking down at the man. This part of the film tells us she was the one that was in control from the beginning, however as an audience we didn’t see that coming because the man was the one who spoke a lot and showed aggressive attitude towards her.

Now straight after taking the shot from the back of him dropping we now see him at a low angel shot on the floor.

The man’s face is shown in-between the chair which looks like a framed shot. Seeing this makes the audience get an unpleasant feeling because we would think the woman’s mental for doing this just because his upset with her.

Page 12: Media prsentation

The woman stares at him for about two seconds which leave’s the audience thinking she would help him out but instead she carry’s on doing her own thing and she sits where he sat and drinks his tea.

Still there are no sign of a face expression from here. She’s seem completely normal about everything what just happened.

Page 13: Media prsentation

This is a medium (close up) shot. The oil running down on the floor and more and more keeps coming from the man’s head, by looking at this we already know his dead.

No music’s being played everything's still in silence, then a bright light starts to appear slowly fading away from this bit of the film.

Page 14: Media prsentation

Now the film begins! It starts off by bits of blood drips. And it fades away as another one appears each time.

There is a slow music that starts off at the same time you can hear the deep blood dripping with the music.

There are writings along to present the beginning of the film.

They are represented distantly so that there will be more effect on the blood shown as it appears each time.

Page 15: Media prsentation

Here we see the blood drip starts dripping a lot until the camera zooms out and it creates this symbol, which we don’t know the meaning of. It looks like Chinese letters are being put together but at the same time were left unsure. The audience would guess that it could present something that’s got to do with the film.

Black and Red may suggest death and Blood!

Second image of this symbol then turn’s black and you still can’t tell what it may be saying, however now we see the title of the film Grudge 2 appear and its presented in slightly Bold writing all in capital letters and a light smudge of redness all around.

Page 16: Media prsentation

The image changes and the symbol breaks down. It looks as though a sprite is coming out of the symbol. It’s spread everywhere and gone all strange.

The black looks like hair flying about while we see the redness inside. The sound of the blood drips are still being heard, with the light music being played.

This pattern of the black symbol repeats all around it as it swift’s in one way.
