Lacrosse was the first truly American sport. The French watched the Native Americans play the game and taught it to settlers in Canada.
Two days out of 365 days of the year feature no professional sports games (MLB, NBA, NHL, or NFL). The day before and the day after the MLB All-Star Break.

able to compete.
Ana Gabriela Guevara
One of our most recent Mexican athletic treasures is Ana Gabriela Guevara. Guevara is recognized for her swiftness and ability to run at a high speed in the running fields. Guevara has won a serious of medals for her athletic talents. The total medals that she has been awarded for running in the fields are an honorable record. The career of this athlete was won a total of twenty three medals. Thirteen gold medals, seven silver medals and three bronze medals for all her competitions.

Trent DimasTrent Dimas is a Hispanic American from New Mexico.
Dimas is the first Hispanic to win a gold medal on the Horizontal bar. And first Gymnast to win a Gold medal outside the country.
